Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program

A full scholarship for academically talented, economically disadvantaged young people from Africa, delivered through a global network of partner universities and organizations including the African Leadership University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Sciences Po, and Makerere University. Covers tuition, accommodation, books, travel, mentoring, counselling, and structured leadership development, with particular emphasis on women, refugees, and people with disabilities. Eligibility, fields offered, and the application process are set individually by each partner institution, so applicants must apply directly through their chosen partner's own admissions process rather than through a central Mastercard Foundation portal.
